Barden has partnered with a highly successful Irish-owned group on a Director level role on the FP&A team to cover maternity leave.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Reporting to the CFO and leading a team is a unique opportunity for senior-level accountant with strong commercial acumen to step into a pivotal leadership role within a dynamic and ambitious organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning process across the group, including quarterly, annual, and long-term budgeting.
- Lead and develop a team of FP&A professionals
- Provide strategic financial analysis, supporting decision-making through rigorous review and challenge of forecasts and key business drivers.
- Evaluate new product features and innovations, conducting detailed ROI assessments to measure business impact.
- Enhance profitability reporting, ensuring clear and effective measurement of business performance.
- Lead monthly budget review processes, offering key insights and solutions for budget holders.
- Provide financial expertise for strategic transactions and special projects, working closely with the CFO
- Act as a key business partner, collaborating across departments to drive efficiency and financial success.
- Continuously seek out process improvements, ensuring best-in-class reporting and analysis for stakeholders.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA with relevant FP&A/commercial finance experience at a senior level
- Highly detail-oriented, analytical, and commercially astute.
- Proven ability to communicate financial insights effectively at C-suite level and across the business
