Project Coordinator (with Document Control experience)
Jw Turner Contracting LLC, an affiliate of Paris Group, is an in-house provider of high-quality fit-out and maintenance services, specializing in retail and hospitality projects. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional results by ensuring that every detail of the project is meticulously planned and executed.
We are looking for a proactive and organized Project Coordinator with strong document control experience to support the execution of high-end interior fit-out projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and supporting the project team to ensure timely and quality delivery of works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the project manager in planning, scheduling, and coordinating all project activities.
- Maintain and manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, drawings, method statements, and approvals.
- Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring all documentation is up to date and accurately filed.
- Act as a liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients for communication and document control.
- Prepare and issue internal and external correspondences in line with project requirements.
- Ensure all project documents comply with company and client standards and are submitted through relevant platforms (e.g., Aconex, Procore, etc.).
- Coordinate with procurement and site teams to track materials and site progress.
- Support the project manager in preparation of progress reports, MOMs, and handover documentation.
- Attend site meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action points.
- Ensure confidentiality and proper version control of all project documents.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project Coordinator, with relevant experience in document control in the fit-out or interior contracting industry in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of document control procedures and systems (e.g., Aconex, Primavera Contract Management, etc.).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and PDF editing software.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with local authority approval procedures (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, etc.) is preferred.
- UAE experience and availability to travel to site as needed.
