AI Project Manager – Data Science & Artificial Intelligence Center

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is looking for an experienced AI Project Manager to lead and deliver AI-driven initiatives that transform public services in Dubai. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of smart city development, managing cutting-edge AI projects from concept to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the entire AI project portfolio: planning, implementation, and performance monitoring
• Lead budgeting, resource planning, and strategic alignment of AI initiatives with RTA’s AI Roadmap
• Translate business needs into feasible AI projects, conduct cost-benefit analysis, and track KPIs
• Manage vendors and service providers, ensuring project delivery meets RTA standards
• Design and deploy interactive dashboards (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Microsoft Fabric) for real-time reporting
• Drive AI innovation, mentor team members, and support AI training & capability-building programs
• Ensure alignment with data governance, security, and UAE’s national data regulations
• Collaborate across technical and business stakeholders, including IT, strategy, and external consultants

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, AI, Data Science, or related field
• 14+ years of relevant experience in AI, project management, and data platforms
• Expertise in data lake, ETL pipelines, data warehousing, visualization tools, and machine learning
• Strong command of data privacy, security, enterprise architecture, and data governance frameworks
• Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in project management methodologies and business case evaluation
