Job Description

  • Tool administration: Installing, configuring, upgrading and maintaining tools like JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, Artifactory, Jenkins, etc.
  • Access Management: Managing user roles, permissions, and integrations with identity providers (ex. SSO)
  • Integration and Automation: Ensuring tools are integrated into CI/CD pipelines, issue tracking and other workflows.
  • Supporting and Training: Helping engineering teams use the tools effectively, offering support, and creating documentation or training sessions.
  • Tool Evaluation – Business case development and Funding: Scan the market for emerging devOps / developer productivity tools, conduct detailed evaluation and integrate into the existing ecosystem
  • License and Cost Management: Track usage and optimizing license costs
  • Governance and Best Practices: Enforcing standard around branching strategies, code reviews artifact storage etc.
