Business Analyst

We’re looking for a Business Analyst with deep financial services expertise to help shape and manage data models that power critical banking operations.

This role will work at the intersection of business, technology, and data governance, ensuring high-quality, scalable data structures that support regulatory compliance, reporting, and analytics across a complex financial ecosystem.

Core Responsibilities

• Design and refine data models to support both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic analytics.
• Translate business use cases into scalable data solutions using normalized and de-normalized structures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs around banking products, customers, transactions, and reporting.
• Support the development of data warehouses, marts, and integration layers based on enterprise architecture.
• Partner with tech teams to implement and optimize physical data structures for high-volume datasets.
• Ensure alignment with governance standards and contribute to data quality, lineage, and transparency efforts.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience in data management or architecture within banking or financial services.
• Strong command of data modelling (logical & physical), with knowledge of financial risk, compliance, and reporting structures.
• Skilled in SQL and familiar with tools like PowerDesigner or Erwin.
• Solid grasp of data warehouse design, dimensional modelling, and integration best practices.
• Understanding of metadata standards and governance models such as DAMA-DMBOK.
• Familiar with APAC banking regulations and data compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused mindset.
• Experience with Collibra or similar data governance platforms is a bonus.

This is a contract role based in Singapore.
