Azure , Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Permanent, Dublin

Role and Responsibilities

• Commercial Azure, Cloud Infrastructure experience
• IAAS
• A mix of Project work and issue resolutions
• Migration of on prem applications and infrastructure to Azure platform as a service.
• Design and implementation
• Strong PowerShell Scripting experience

What you need:

• 5 years experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. Experience in enterprise networking, on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Please note this is not a DevOps role
• Commercial Azure experience is essential.
• Powershell Scripting is essential.
• Migration On Prem to Azure, VM – IAAS VM
• Understanding of on-premises virtualization technologies, including: VMs and virtual networking.
• Experience of Migrations of On Prem to Cloud (Applications and infrastructure)
• Experience in Web Based Multi Tier (Web/ Apps / Database ) infrastructure deployments.
• Working in a Cloud Environment is essential
• Ability to work with architects, administrators, and developers to plan and implement solutions
• Excellent communication skills.
• Azure Certification would be an advantage
• There will be an on – call aspect to the role. 7 nights with a 6 week cycle after the probationary period with days in lieu and with on call allowances.
• Candidates must have worked for a minimum of 5 years in a similar role and should have been working in Ireland for 2 years.
