JavaScript Test Automation

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools that ensure the quality and reliability of our software systems. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with developers and product managers, integrating best practices and testing methodologies into the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation tools and frameworks using clean coding practices and functional programming methodologies.
• Perform comprehensive end-to-end validation of software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
• Design robust test strategies by analyzing product designs, technical specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Advocate for modern testing methodologies, tools, and best practices to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Support and enhance test infrastructure to ensure seamless integration with deployment pipelines and establish continuous build and test cycles.
• Collaborate with developers throughout all phases of the SDLC to embed quality into the development process.
• Report, document, and communicate test results and defects effectively to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience developing test automation frameworks and tools.
• Strong working knowledge of TypeScript and extensive experience with REST API testing and automation.
• Proficiency with testing tools such as Jest and Selenium.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and strong SQL skills.
• In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and product integration phases.
