Job Description

As a Node.js Developer, you will be an integral part of our dynamic development team, responsible for building and managing high-performance applications. In this role, you will leverage your strong technical skills and experience with Node.js to work on diverse projects that power the server side of our applications. Your expertise will help in creating and improving scalable backend solutions that integrate seamlessly with the front-end components. You will be collaborating closely with other developers, architects, and product managers to ensure the timely and reliable execution of software solutions that meet or exceed our quality and performance standards. Your ability to troubleshoot complex issues and your proactive approach to learning new technologies will be vital in contributing to the success of our team and projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement server-side code using Node.js and related frameworks.
• Develop scalable and efficient backend APIs to support web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Conduct performance tuning, testing, and code optimization for better efficiency.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by participating in code reviews and adhering to software best practices.
• Work with database technologies such as MongoDB, Redis, or SQL to support application data needs.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues and bugs promptly.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to current projects to enhance functionality.
• Assist in the architecture and design of new features and applications.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and team members.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as a Node.js Developer or similar role in a software development environment.
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express or Koa for building APIs.
• In-depth knowledge of RESTful services and API design principles.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git, for collaborative development.
