Job Overview:

Innovo is seeking an experienced Project HSE Manager with at least 12 years of experience in roads and infrastructure projects to lead Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives in Abu Dhabi. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and fostering a strong safety culture within project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• HSE Strategy & Compliance: Develop and implement project-specific HSE plans, ensuring compliance with Abu Dhabi and UAE safety regulations.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Identify potential hazards, conduct safety audits, and develop proactive risk mitigation strategies.
• Training & Awareness: Lead safety training programs and toolbox talks to educate teams on best practices.
• Incident Investigation & Reporting: Oversee investigations, document findings, and implement corrective measures.
• Site Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to HSE policies and regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain a safe working environment.
• Regulatory Liaison: Work with local authorities and industry bodies to ensure compliance with evolving HSE standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in HSE management within roads and infrastructure projects.
• Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent safety management certifications are required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in HSE risk assessment, incident reporting software, and safety compliance tools.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE and Abu Dhabi HSE regulations and construction safety protocols.
• Leadership & Communication: Ability to influence and drive a strong safety culture across multi-disciplinary teams.
