Job Responsibilities

• Product Vision and Strategy:
  
  

Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap, aligning with the departmental & organization's strategic goals.

Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs related to statistical and macroeconomic data.

Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value, user impact, and technical feasibility.

• Product Backlog Management:
  
  

Create and maintain a detailed product backlog, including data requirements, acceptance criteria, and prioritization.

Refine and groom the backlog with the development team and communicate clear & concise requirements ensuring clear understanding and alignment. Manage dependencies and risks associated with backlog items.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including department heads, statisticians, business users and data analysts to gather requirements and ensure alignment.

Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding business and functional requirements and updates.

Present business requirements to stakeholders, effectively communicating progress and outcomes.

• Statistical, macroeconomic and Financial Data Expertise:
  
  

Demonstrate a strong understanding of statistical methodologies, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

Possess a solid understanding of macroeconomics, External sector statistics concepts, including BOP, IIP.

Work closely with data experts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data products.

• Quality Assurance:
  
  

Ensure that all development releases meet defined quality standards and acceptance criteria of the end, business user

Work with the vendor and data office teams to resolve issues

• Documentation
  
  

Maintain relevant project documentation and technical specifications to ensure clarity and transparency. (Prior experience with creating BRD’s for Statistical or Accounting projects is plus).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI).
• Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL).
• Hands-on experience in Python and R
