Senior Business Intelligence Engineer (all genders)

We as the Analytics Tools and Services Team work with curiosity and joy on understanding and solving complex data challenges. We are working closely together with different business departments in order to enable them to answer questions such as the best marketing channel, the most successful shoe model or the best performing customer cluster.

The basis for our work is a powerful insights infrastructure. One of the most important cornerstones of our infrastructure is an enterprise reporting platform as the interface to our internal customers . We are seeking to strengthen our data enablement power.


WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED AS SENIOR BI ENGINEER (all genders)

• Promote data analytics awareness across the company. Create educational content to share data insights best practices
• Offer advice, training and support to business departments when it comes to working with data and data modelling. Help to design, document and maintain system processes

• Own and operate enterprise report landscape
• Making a positive impact on our engineering culture, encouraging knowledge sharing and driving technical discussions within the team and beyond
• Perform reviews of reporting developments, share knowledge and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Actively participate in team discussions, design decisions and requirements clarifications with stakeholders and product managers.
• You keep learning and share your knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies that will help us innovate faster
  
  
  
  

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience working with MicroStrategy and Redshift , the ability to develop schema objects and complex metrics, as well as reports based on these objects, knowledge of relational databases, SQL and DWH systems.
• Experience in operating reporting tool in AWS cloud
• You have solid knowledge of scripting languages language(s) (Python), willingness and interest in learning GoLang
• High level knowledge or interest in data engineering and familiarity with DAGs, data pipelines, S3, Superset, Databricks, or Airflow
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain senior-level client relationships and can provide reliable estimates on work to be executed and deliver on commitments
• Experience working on platform teams that support technical and non-technical stakeholders in large organisations or highly motivated to work in such setup
• You have problem-solving skills and ability to apply logical and analytical thinking to complex problems and have worked in international, multicultural companies before
