Job Title: Senior Kotlin/Android Developer (Contract) Location: Central Leeds (Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite, Tuesdays) Day Rate: £500-£550 (Inside IR35) Contract Duration: 3 months initial

We are currently supporting our client with an exciting opportunity for a Senior Kotlin/Android Developer to join their team on a contract basis.

This role is part of a dedicated Android team and will play a critical part in driving feature delivery, supporting the wider business, and mentoring junior and graduate engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with the existing team lead to design and deliver robust, secure, and high-performing Android features. Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to less experienced developers. Champion best practices in Kotlin development, testing, and agile methodologies. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and iOS counterparts.Requirements:

Proven commercial experience as a Senior Android Developer. Strong Kotlin skills and deep knowledge of Android development best practices. A track record of mentoring or supporting junior team members. Comfortable contributing to architectural decisions and working within Agile/Scrum teams. Must be able to attend the client's central Leeds office every Tuesday.
