We’re working with a respected organisation hiring a Senior Developer / ICT Architect to support large-scale, mission-critical IT projects. This role combines hands-on development with architectural ownership, particularly in environments exploring AI-supported system design.

You’ll be joining a highly skilled team delivering solutions in complex technical landscapes — with room to shape direction as well as contribute to code.

Role Overview: From Concept to Implementation
  • Lead software development and architectural decisions in major enterprise programmes
  • Design scalable, maintainable solutions and communicate clearly across business and technical teams
  • Structure and translate business needs into system architecture that delivers
  • Play a key role in AI innovation, especially around retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and proof-of-concept work
  • Stay technically involved — you’ll be expected to deliver, not just advise
What You Bring
  • 7+ years of experience in software development, ideally with Java/Spring Boot or .NET, and modern frontend frameworks like Angular or React
  • Strong understanding of cloud-native development (Azure or AWS), containerisation (Docker), and event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka)
  • Experience with microservices, application security (IAM, PKI, encryption), and system design
  • Practical exposure to AI/ML integrations, especially with RAG models and prompt engineering
  • Degree in computer science or a comparable field
  • Fluent in German (spoken and written) with B2-level English
