We at Together are a dynamic startup of seven passionate developers building the Together app. Our mission is to revolutionize how people collect and share photos and videos from shared experiences. Harnessing artificial intelligence, our app intelligently helps users gather and curate their memories—making it easier and more meaningful to share moments with friends.

We are looking for:

An experienced React Native Developer (m/f/d) to join our Mobile-Frontend team. You will work 100 % on React Native UI development, bring deep TypeScript expertise, a keen eye for performance, and ideally have built and published your own React-Native libraries. Native iOS/Android know-how is a plus.

Your Responsibilities

• React Native Frontend

Design, implement, and refine new and existing UI components exclusively in React Native.

• Modular Architecture & Library Development

Create and maintain reusable component libraries, ensure API stability, and manage changelogs and release pipelines to keep our ecosystem healthy.

• State Management & Navigation

Leverage Redux or Context API for state management and implement performant navigation flows with React Navigation.

• Testing & Quality Assurance

Write and maintain unit and component tests; conduct regular code reviews.

• Performance Optimization

Profile and tune rendering cycles, caching logic, memory usage, and cold-start times on both iOS and Android.

Your Profile

• Proven React Native Expertise

Minimum three years of hands-on React Native experience in production apps—regardless of educational background.

• Core Technical Skills

TypeScript, React fundamentals & React Native tooling (Metro, npm/Yarn, Git), Native build environments: Xcode (Swift/ObjC) and Android Studio (Kotlin/Java)

• Soft Skills

Proactive problem-solving, analytical mindset, and excellent communication in an agile team.

• Language

Fluent English; German is a plus.

• Production App Experience

You’ve built and published your own React Native app or made significant contributions to one at a previous company.

Nice to have

• Native Modules & Libraries

Experience developing native Turbo Modules (iOS/Android) and maintaining custom React-Native libraries.

• UI Component Tools

Familiarity with Figma, Storybook, Rollup, or similar tools.
