Principal Computational Biologist – RWD

.We are seeking a computational biologist to join a cross-functional team dedicated to driving innovation in oncology. You will play a pivotal role in integrating real-world data (RWD) with advanced analytics to uncover novel biomarkers, therapeutic targets, and resistance mechanisms - directly impacting the future of cancer care.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Analyse and interpret clinical real-world oncology data and multi-omics datasets to uncover insights and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Identify relevant patient cohorts for hypothesis validation and support of clinical development programs.
  • Design and implement advanced statistical and machine learning/artificial intelligence models for biomarker discovery, therapeutic target identification, and patient stratification.
  • Present complex data and insights in a clear and impactful manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports, visualizations, and presentations.
  • Collaborate across disciplines—working closely with biologists, clinicians, and bioinformaticians—to integrate and analyse diverse data types.
  • Lead and cultivate scientific collaborations with academic institutions and industry partners.



Qualifications:


  • Ph.D in Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related life-sciences field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a biotech or industry setting.
  • Proven expertise in handling both real-world patient data and oncology data
  • Proficient in programming with R or Python; experienced with version control tools such as Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
