Position: Network Engineer
Location: Hamburg, Germany (up to 6 Days/Month Remote)

About the Role
As a Network Engineer, you’ll be essential to the operational success of our client’s global network infrastructure. This role is perfect for a motivated network specialist looking to shape global communication projects and work with state-of-the-art tech.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and Optimize Network Infrastructure: Ensure robust network performance across multiple data centres, overseeing firewalls, VPNs, routers, switches, and leased lines.
- Drive Network Development: Continuously improve and expand network capabilities, documenting updates to maintain reliability and security.
- Collaborate on Projects: Work with an international IT team to develop, plan, and implement customer-centric solutions.
- Provide Technical Support: Deliver 2nd and 3rd-level support for customer issues related to network functionality.
- Manage Global Communication Systems: Oversee and maintain efficiency in all communication channels across the global network.
What You Bring
- Relevant Education/Experience: Apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience in IT, with a focus on network administration.
- Network Proficiency: Expertise in WAN, LAN, VPNs, firewalls, routers, and UTMs. Cisco certification (CCNA or CCNP) is highly desirable; familiarity with Cisco CUBE and BGP is an advantage.
- Technical Versatility: Knowledge of MS Windows Server, MS Hyper-V, HPE servers, switches, VoIP, DNS, SBC, and SSL certificate management.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both German and English.
- Background Requirement: Due to project requirements, candidates must be from a NATO state.
