Snr. Software Engineer Java – Remote First

€70,000 – €90,000 DOE

Join an established company to support them with a critical project to modernize one of their core platforms. You will join an established scrum team collaborating with other software engineers, as well as QA, Product, and Scrum masters.

This is a fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for designing and developing Java Software Solutions, focusing on APIs, Cloud, and DevOps.

You will work with the latest technologies and be part of a team influencing decisions for new feature development ensuring the scalability and availability of internal applications.

This is a remote-first organisation for candidates located in Ireland, with an option for working in an office if desired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain features and products across our platforms.
• Ensure the code base is clean, scalable, and secure.
• Work with other like-minded developers as part of an agile team.
• Work with our product, quality, and site reliability teams

Requirements:

• 6+ years of backend Java and Spring development with a focus on RestAPI’s
• Strong database experience – Oracle is preferred, but there can be others.
• AwsCloud and CI/CD
• Experience with message systems ActiveMQ & Kafka.

Nice to have:

• Kubernetes or Openshift

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: €70,000 – €90,000 DOE
