Department overview:

The Project Management Department acts as a centre of excellence, liaising with all departments, coordinating and striving for implementation in agreed budget, time and scope. It is also responsible for the analysis, planning and management of projects related to regulatory, operational and system improvements.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager on a permanent contract to support the team in place.

Your main tasks will be to:

• Lead and coordinate the definition and implementation of multiple projects
• Build the appropriate governance for each project, in strict respect of the Bank’s governance
• Lead the different aspects of the project phases managing efficiently the constraints of cost, time and scope
• Schedule, organize and facilitate meetings, including the monthly steering committee and reporting to sponsoring group.
• Act as a leader and ensure the efficient collaboration of the different actions involved in the program/project
• Ensure communication flows within the project team, the stakeholders and vendors for project status and activities

Job requirements:

• Studies in Business Administration, Finance or IT
• Strong experience in project management or assimilated role within financial services industry
• Very good understanding and knowledge of banking activities (Asset Services, Transaction Management and/or Fund Accounting)
• Team spirit; enthusiasm and problem solving attitude
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to details
• Fluent in English and French is considered as an asset
• Prince2/PM/MSP or assimilated certification
• Exposure and understanding of project environment and/or demand management with various methodologies (including Agile or distributed Agile)
• MS Project or assimilated Project Management tool (e.g. Planisware Orchestra)
