Job Description:

The Workforce Strategy Analyst is responsible for leading the analysis of long-term workforce and labour landscape trends to ensure SPX Express maintains the operational capacity, resilience, and cost-efficiency needed to support growth across Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Brazil. This role is pivotal in identifying structural manpower challenges and designing forward-looking workforce strategies — including the adoption of scalable alternatives such as Buyer Self Collection (BSC) — to meet the evolving demands of our logistics network.

  • Lead ongoing assessments of long-term manpower trends across markets — including demographics, workforce availability, wage movements, and labour regulations — to project future operational risks or gaps in manpower.
  • Collaborate with operations, network planning, and commercial teams to translate workforce insights into volume-aligned capacity strategies.
  • Track regional and global shifts in employment models (e.g. gig economy, automation, outsourcing) and evaluate their impact on SPX Express operations.
  • Identify structural constraints in traditional delivery models and propose scalable alternatives like Buyer Self Collection (BSC), parcel lockers, or other delivery modes.
  • Build dashboards and structured reporting mechanisms to highlight productivity trends, workforce gaps, and strategic opportunities.
  • Collect, analyse and disseminate information and analysis on Loss, risk, threat and potential future state
  • Monitoring and evaluating risk management strategies; may include building of dashboard for better visibility

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Data Analytics, Operations, Supply Chain, Business Intelligence, Analytical disciplines, etc.)
  • Relevant experience in supply chain/ operations management and/or supply chain risk monitoring experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Practical knowledge of SQL and Python is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Professional demeanor and ability to communicate with all levels of business leadership and staff
  • Strong self-discipline and self-management skills, able to work effectively as part of a team or on a single contributor project
  • Good project management skills, with a keen interest in driving business outcomes
  • Familiarity and mastery of various technology platforms, such as geospatial tools; news aggregators, and scraping platforms, are preferred
