Role
- Leading complex, cross-functional technical initiatives that span multiple teams and systems.
- Designing and implementing scalable, maintainable software architectures that support business objectives.
- Providing technical mentorship to senior engineers and help establish engineering best practices.
- Identifying and resolving critical technical challenges before they impact business operations.
- Driving technology strategy decisions and evaluate new technologies for adoption
- Collaborating with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Contributing to hiring decisions and help build a strong engineering culture.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including experience in a technical leadership role.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, scalable architectures, and software design patterns.
- Strong track record of delivering large-scale technical projects.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and driving technical excellence.
- Background in agile development methodologies.
- Track record of improving engineering processes and developer productivity.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps culture.
- Experience in fostering an inclusive engineering culture.
- Expert-level proficiency in C#.NET
- Strong proficiency in at least one javascript framework (React.js, Next.js, Angular).
- Strong understanding of Azure.
- Excellence in system design, performance optimization, and reliability engineering.
- Strong understanding of SQL Server, Postgres and Redis.
- Strong understanding of tools including DataDog, LaunchDarkly and Twillio Segment.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- A commitment to staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
