Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Sydney, NSW
Employment Type: Permanent
Must have:
- Full working rights. No sponsorship available.
- At least 5 years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Mandatory Skills
- DevOps - CI/CD experience - Github Actions (including scripting)/ Circle-CI
- Clear Communicator - to have had experience working with teams across shores, and be a clear communicator
- Production environment setup experience and Prod/high priority issues - support
- Problem Solving and Debugging Skills
- Incident management experience in a critical system. (aware of ITIL)
Good to have:
- Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash or YAML.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Monitoring tools include Datadog, AWS Cloud Watch, New Relic, Splunk, Dyna Trace, etc.
- Other DEVOPS experience with Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, Kibana etc.
- NoSQL exposure (Like - Mongo or Couchbase DB)
- KAFKA
- Hands-on in LINUX
- AGILE - some exposure to AGILE methodology
