IT Project Manager (Strategic Advisor)

Do you have 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager? We are looking for a new colleague to join our team in Brussels.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a strategic advisor in IT project management
• Proven track record in contract management and outsourcing governance, particularly in the public/government sector
• Strong expertise in ITIL v3/v4, IT service management, and supplier performance (KPIs/SLAs)
• Deep knowledge of SIAM frameworks and best practices
• Skilled in stakeholder communication, risk management, and transformation planning
• Capable of designing and delivering TO BE operating models and SIAM roadmaps
• Experience managing RFP processes and supporting partner integration
• Languages: Dutch (active), English (active), French (active)

Job Description:

• Serve as a strategic sounding board for Defence leadership on ITSM and SIAM matters
• Manage project team activities and provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders
• Guide the development and implementation of the TO BE Target Operating Model and transformation Roadmap
• Advise on outsourcing governance and contract management, with emphasis on end-to-end SLAs/KPIs
• Oversee the RFP process and assist in the selection of a new SIAM partner
• Promote and facilitate smooth cooperation between suppliers in a multi-vendor environment
• Support the integration of ITSM processes within the new SIAM operating model
• Drive stakeholder engagement and ensure clear, consistent communication across all levels
