Quality Engineer (one-year contract) (F/M)

Main duties and responsibilities:

Your mission at Kronospan is to monitor our activities while promoting an environmental approach.

To achieve this, your daily tasks consists of:

- Coordinate emission measurements with production and suppliers ;

- Monitor supplier services for the Environment Department ;

- Prepare self-monitoring reports and maintain documentation for regulatory compliance ;

- Support Health and Safety assistant in chemical management ;

- Assist in deploying and maintaining ISO 14001 environmental management system (EMS) ;

- Advise and guide production departments on ISO 14001 compliance ;

- Conduct internal audits, identify risks, and track environmental initiatives ;

- Develop and deliver environmental awareness programs for staff and service providers ;

- Manage or contribute to environmental projects as required.

Requirements:

Here is an overview of the skills required:

- Open minded and curious personality ;

- Autonomy, ability to understand industrial processes ;

- Able to work efficiently and accurately when under pressure to meet deadlines ;

- 2 – 3 years experiences in industry, wood industry would be a plus ;

- DUT in Chemical Engineering and Process Engineering, BTS or DUT or Bachelor's degree in Quality - Health - Safety – Environment or similar ;

- Knowledge of ISO 14001,9001 and 45001 standard ;

- Well-versed in MS applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and advanced in Excel ;

- Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and verbal), German would be an asset.
