We are looking for a dynamic and experienced QA Architect to spearhead our quality assurance initiatives for mobile applications.

This role is pivotal in shaping our QA strategy and ensuring the delivery of high-performing, secure, and feature-rich mobile apps. If you have a passion for designing robust automation frameworks and deep expertise in mobile testing, we invite you to join our team.

Responsibilities


  • Define QA best practices, processes, and automation strategies to ensure high-quality mobile applications
  • Architect and enhance automation frameworks for iOS and Android apps to accelerate testing
  • Align the QA strategy with organizational objectives and the overarching test strategy
  • Build and maintain scalable and efficient automation frameworks and scripts for mobile apps
  • Deliver automated test suites for functional, performance, security, and regression testing requirements
  • Expand automated tests to address advanced features like root/jailbreak detection, NFC, GPS, or biometrics
  • Lead hands-on testing efforts for mobile applications, ensuring seamless integration and functionality
  • Provide expertise in mobile-specific services such as push notifications, location-based features, and platform edge cases
  • Identify and mitigate potential defects specific to mobile platforms during the development lifecycle


Requirements


  • Proven experience as a QA Architect or Senior Test Automation Engineer for mobile applications
  • Expertise in building and tailoring test automation frameworks for mobile technologies like iOS and Android, leveraging tools such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest
  • Proficiency in programming languages for automation, such as Java, Python, Swift, Kotlin, or JavaScript
  • Background in mobile-specific testing practices including root and jailbreak detection, NFC functionality, GPS, and biometric features
  • Strong knowledge of testing processes, combining manual and automated testing, including exploratory testing techniques
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control using Jenkins, Git, or Bitbucket
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle best practices


Nice to have


  • Familiarity with mobile testing tools like Calabash, Detox, or TestComplete
  • Understanding of mobile security testing frameworks and vulnerability assessment techniques
  • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms such as BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or Firebase Test Lab
  • Knowledge of mobile performance monitoring tools like Crashlytics or Dynatrace

Salary range €3.8K-€5.2K gross, based on your experience and interview results.
