Your Role at Yuki

You will join our Team Netherlands as a Back-end Developer. Your team’s mission at Yuki is to elevate our product by adding value for the Dutch market by following the development of Dutch laws and regulations, and innovate processes and workflow for both accountants and entrepreneurs. This means you will participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on optimizing and refactoring the existing codebases, enhancing the performance of critical applications for maximum speed and scalability, and building readable, maintainable, and performant code using the best software practices.

Furthermore, you will be a reference to the team, guiding them in implementing new features and functionalities into our product (e.g. API’s, data interfaces with external parties, etcetera), and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

What You Get To Do

• Feature Development: You will be working on implementing new features and functionalities into our products, such as APIs and data interfaces with external parties, ensuring they are efficient, robust, and aligned with user needs.
• Code Optimization: You will be working on optimizing and refactoring the existing code bases, focusing on improving performance, readability, and maintainability;
• Code Development: Build readable, maintainable, and performant code by applying best software practices and industry standards;
• Performance Enhancement: You will be working on optimizing the application for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a smooth and efficient user experience under varying loads;
• Team Collaboration: You will be working closely with other team members and stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration to achieve project goals.
  
  

What Are We Looking For

• At least 4 years of experience as a back-end developer using .NET Technologies (VB.NET/C#)
• Strong experience with relational database engines (MSSQL)
• Experience with API development HTTP, REST and .NET Web API;
• Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum)
• Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with AWS S3 / SNS / SQS is a plus
• Some experience of JavaScript frameworks like Vue, Prototype, Angular, etc., is a big plus
• Experience in performance-critical applications is a big plus.
• Familiarity with OCR systems and ML is a plus
• Experience with ASP.NET is a plus
• Familiarity with NoSQL DBs is a plus. (Mongo/Dynamo)
• Autonomy, analytical mindset, and strong organizational skills
