Cyber Security Engineer

At Cleeven IT, we are currently looking for Junior Cybersecurity Engineers to join our team and work directly with our clients across various sectors including finance, life sciences, energy, and industry.

We are searching for highly motivated individuals with up to a few years of experience who are eager to develop their skills in applied cybersecurity. This is a full-time, on-site consulting role based at our clients’ premises throughout Switzerland – including cities like Zürich, Basel, Bern, Lausanne, and Geneva.

In this role, you will assist with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits. You will also support the implementation of cybersecurity controls, contribute to incident response, and help secure infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments. Working closely with senior engineers and client teams, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a broad range of security challenges.

We are looking for candidates with a strong technical foundation and a genuine interest in cybersecurity. A degree in computer science, cybersecurity, engineering or a similar field is preferred, along with up to three years of relevant experience, including internships. A solid understanding of operating systems, networking, and IT architectures is essential.

Since this role involves working with clients across Switzerland, fluency in English (minimum C1 level) is required, along with fluency in either German or French (also C1 level). Flexibility and willingness to travel/relocate across Switzerland are also necessary.
