Artificial Intelligence Engineer

AI Engineer - Täby - Hybrid - English speaking - Product Company

Our client has been around for 20+ years and has had a solid relationship with Microsoft during most of that time despite being a slightly smaller company. They are looking for an AI Developer to join their team in Taby to work on their AI product alongside Microsoft.

Requirements:

1. Core Technical Skills

• Strong Programming Skills
• Python (essential, for AI/ML and pipeline code)
• Bash/Shell scripting (automation, system tasks)
• Software Engineering Practices
• Version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab)

2. AI/Machine Learning Skills

• Model Development & Deployment
• Understanding of computer vision models (detection, segmentation, tracking)
• Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, ONNX)
• Data Handling
• Data pre-processing and augmentation for video/image tasks

3. Video Processing & Computer Vision

• Video I/O and Processing
• Experience with OpenCV, FFmpeg, or GStreamer
• Understanding of video codecs and formats (H.264, H.265, etc.)
• Applied Computer Vision
• Object detection, tracking, and event detection in video streams

4. Nice-to-Have

• C++ (performance-critical video or AI code)
• .Net / C#
• Distributed Systems
• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ)
• Edge AI / Hardware Acceleration
• CUDA programming or GPU optimization
• API Development
• REST/API design and implementation
• Linux Proficiency
• Comfortable developing and debugging on Linux servers
• Understanding of networking basics (for video stream handling)
• Kubernetes & Containerization
• Building and running Docker containers
• Familiarity with Kubernetes
