Data Protection Officer & Coordinator

We are looking for Data Protection Officer ( Swedish Citizenship) to our reputed client in preferably in Sundsvall but also in Stockholm- Part time up to 50%- for 1 year or more.

Background and nature of the assignment

• Background The authority has decided to procure the expertise of a data protection officer to meet the requirements placed on the authority by law.
  
  
  

Data Protection Officer

• informs and advises the data controller on their obligations under data protection law,
• monitors that the organization complies with all legislation regarding data protection, including through audits, awareness-raising activities and staff training
• advises when a data protection impact assessment has been carried out and monitors its results
• acts as a contact point for requests from individuals regarding the processing of their personal data and the exercise of their rights
• collaborates with IMY when necessary
  
  
  

The Data Protection Officer reports directly to Digg's highest level of management.

• Security requirements This assignment requires a security protection agreement level three (3), where the consultant's security class is two (3).
• Digg therefore has the following requirements for delivery;
• Consultant is checked by SÄPO.
  
  
  

Delivery of consulting services shall take place within the borders of Sweden, unless otherwise agreed.

Equipment from Digg must be used, other equipment is not permitted, unless otherwise agreed.

The consultant must be a Swedish citizen and the bidder is responsible for ensuring that the consultant offered passes a security check.

Consultant's skill level Skill level 3

• Knowledge high competence in current role
• Experience worked 48 years in current role, is a role model for other lower-level Consultants
• Management takes responsibility for a sub-area, can lead a smaller group

Competence requirements SHOULD & SHOULD requirements The supplier must offer a consultant as a data protection officer

The consultant must meet the following:

• Have very good knowledge of data protection legislation
• Have at least three (3) years of experience working as a data protection officer
• Have at least three (3) years of experience in ensuring routines and processes for systematic data protection work in a medium-sized organization, i.e. an organization with at least 100 employees
• Have good communication skills, both spoken and written, primarily in Swedish
• Have high levels of collaboration skills and a pedagogical approach
• Have a Bachelor of Laws degree or a degree from a law program
  
  
  

The consultant should:

• Have experience in data protection work in the public sector, at least three (3) years
• Have a good understanding of operational requirements, for a smooth dialogue with the business
• Have experience in developing governing documents, such as policies, guidelines, etc., at a government agency
