About The Role

We are seeking a .NET Fullstack Developer for a remote 12-month contract engagement with a provincial government client based in Alberta. While this role is remote, occasional on-site meetings or sessions may be required with reasonable notice. Please note that client policy does not cover expenses.

This role involves iterative delivery of technical solutions that respond to evolving business needs, user requirements, and technical possibilities. The successful candidate will play a key part in solution design, development, and ongoing support of digital services that directly impact Albertans.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support technical discovery including artifacts, diagrams, and documentation.
• Design and develop features that align with findings from user research.
• Resolve functional and non-functional defects and improve solution maintainability.
• Collaborate with frontend designers to maintain a consistent UI/UX across the platform.
• Advise product owners on technical implementations and delivery strategies.
• Support deployments for both limited and general availability.
• Contribute to common platform services and reusable technical components.
• Mentor incoming developers and enhance team practices, documentation, and tools.
