Head of CIO Office, Global FMCG Retail

We are currently partnering with a leading global FMCG retail company in search of a strategic and operationally strong Head of CIO Office.

Role

This is a high-impact leadership role with global visibility, reporting directly to APAC CIO. As the Head of CIO Office, you will be a key advisor to the CIO and play a central role in translating business objectives into technology-driven outcomes.

You will be responsible for driving IT strategy execution, managing global technology governance, and ensuring smooth coordination of digital transformation programs across business units. You will oversee the IT project portfolio, lead executive-level communication, and serve as a critical link between the CIO and key internal/external stakeholders.

In addition, you will lead a team that supports IT performance management, talent development, and global vendor partnerships. This role also plays a crucial part in fostering a culture of innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence within the global IT function.

Requirement

MBA or Master's qualified (preferably in Information Systems, Business, or Engineering), you will have a strong track record of success in IT leadership roles within global organizations-ideally in the FMCG or retail space. You have at least 12-18 years of experience, including significant exposure to digital transformation, PMO leadership, and executive-level stakeholder engagement.

You are business-savvy, tech-literate, and comfortable influencing at the C-suite level. Familiarity with IT governance models (e.g., ITIL, COBIT), Agile ways of working, and emerging technologies such as AI and cloud infrastructure is highly valued.
