Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and optimization of scalable, high-performing infrastructure and applications.

Responsibilities

Design and deploy serverless applications using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and Step Functions
Work closely with business analysts and stakeholders to gather application requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Develop reusable and robust software solutions while adhering to best practices for serverless architecture
Automate and enhance development and operational processes to ensure scalability and performance
Conduct thorough testing to validate application functionality and address any issues identified
Maintain comprehensive documentation of application configurations, processes, and changes in line with best practices
Implement and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as AWS CDK and Terraform
Set up observability practices, including logging, metrics, and tracing, to monitor application health and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features, ensuring a smooth handoff for ongoing support

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
At least 3 years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
Proven experience in building serverless applications using AWS services
Proficiency in AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, Step Functions, and other relevant tools
Strong programming skills in languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or Golang
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like AWS CDK and Terraform, as well as Jenkins pipelines, GitHub Actions, and OTEL
Familiarity with observability practices, including logging, metrics, and distributed tracing
Excellent analytical skills for identifying and resolving technical challenges
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders and team members
Ability to translate business objectives into technical solutions that align with project goals
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken, at a B2 level or higher

Nice to have

AWS certifications related to serverless architecture and application development
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and microservices architecture
