Frontend Developer

About The Role

Stealth IT Consulting Limited is seeking an experienced Fullstack Developer to join a government programme focused on delivering modern, accessible digital services. The successful candidate will work remotely and contribute to the development of GDS-compliant applications that meet the highest accessibility and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop fullstack applications aligned with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards
• Ensure services are fully accessible and WCAG 2.2 AA compliant
• Deliver high-performance applications using modern frameworks and DevOps practices
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across design, development, and testing
• Contribute to decision-making around architecture and technology choices
  
  

Tech stack

• Frontend: Next.js
• Backend: Node.js, Python, Java/Spring Boot (depending on project area)
• Cloud: AWS
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience developing GDS-compliant services
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA)
• Hands-on experience with Next.js and deploying applications on Kubernetes in AWS
• Familiarity or fluency with either Python or Java/Spring Boot
• Strong collaborative and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• SC Clearance (active or eligible) is highly preferred
