Fullstack Developer

About The Role

Damia Group is partnering with a global IT consultancy to support a high-profile UK Government project. We are seeking an experienced Fullstack Developer with active SC clearance for an immediate start. This role is fully remote and demands a strong background in both back-end and front-end technologies. The successful candidate will be contributing to the development of secure, scalable services in line with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver fullstack application development across backend and frontend
• Write clean, maintainable code using Node.js and JavaScript frameworks
• Implement user interfaces using GDS standards, SASS, and vanilla JS
• Develop APIs and integrate with AWS services
• Maintain and optimise Postgres databases
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance across all components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment

• Node.js
• Hapi (or equivalent framework such as Express.js)

• SASS
• GDS standards
• Vanilla JavaScript (or comparable frameworks)

• CloudFront, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, S3, SES, SQS
• API Gateway

Requirements

• Must hold current and active SC Clearance
• Proven experience in fullstack development roles
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure
• Previous work on government or secure systems (preferred)
• Availability to start within the next two weeks
