Information Technology Support Engineer

Our client based in Preston is currently seeking an IT Support Engineer to join their team in an IT support role. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled and customer-oriented individual looking to provide hands-on support across a range of hardware, software, and network issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first- and second-line support for users across the business
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues via phone, email, and in person
• Support and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
• Assist with user onboarding, system setups, and routine upgrades
• Monitor and maintain IT systems and network infrastructure

Key Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic networking
• Effective problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Previous experience in a general IT support role is highly desirable
