Start date: ASAP

Type: Remote + occasional travel

Location: Brussels, BEL

Travel Requirements: 3 days per month or 1 week every 2 months

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with agency cloud providers to define and meet technical project needs.
  • Design, create, and manage continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for solution delivery.
  • Implement and oversee monitoring tools and alert systems to maintain operational excellence.
  • Develop and enforce standards and guidelines to achieve a consistent approach across projects.
  • Engage in all phases of project lifecycles, contributing to both strategy and execution.
  • Script and construct cloud infrastructure based on architectural designs.
  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis for complex technical issues.
  • Resolve performance and operational challenges to ensure system reliability.
  • Establish and enforce security policies, reporting any potential risks.
  • Document technical knowledge and processes in detailed notes and manuals.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or DevOps, with a focus on deploying and maintaining multi-tiered application architectures.
  • Expertise in public cloud platforms, specifically Azure, and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Proficiency with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, including familiarity with Nexus, Maven, NPM, and similar tools.
  • A track record of successful automation implementations.
  • Excellent command of the English language, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to build and manage secure, manageable containerized clusters.
  • Advanced skills in troubleshooting and multitasking.
  • At least 3 years of substantial experience in a DevOps-centric role.
  • Scripting proficiency in languages such as PowerShell, Python, Shell/Bash etc.
  • Good understanding of Azure data services like Azure Service Bus, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hubs, Azure API Management, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and Data Mesh principles is advantageous.
