Network Engineer (FR/NL/EN)

Primary Tasks and Responsibilities (Medior Profile)

• Support the management and maintenance of the network and security infrastructure, with exposure to Cisco Nexus, F5, Infoblox, Meraki SDWan/Lan/Wlan (cloud-managed), Checkpoint FW and VPN - Ivanti.
• Initial focus will be on assisting with LAN/WAN tasks under guidance from senior colleagues.
• Participate in incident management activities within a 24/7 datacenter and customer environment, working collaboratively with L1 and L3 support teams.
• Assist in the delivery and operational support of WAN/LAN/WLAN, data center, and DevOps-related projects, gaining hands-on experience.
• Collaborate closely with peers and more experienced engineers on both project-based work and ongoing operational tasks (Run).
• Provide first-line support and troubleshooting for (W)LAN/WAN components in case of incidents or problems, escalating when necessary.
• Contribute to automation efforts by learning and applying scripting techniques for repetitive administrative tasks (with support where needed).
• Help maintain and update technical documentation relevant to the domain.
• Ensure, under supervision, that network components are monitored and follow best practices for availability, performance, and IT security in accordance with SLAs.
• Contribute to maintaining network availability, stability and basic security posture.

Technical Profile Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in network operations and administration. Prior involvement with LAN/WAN is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with at least some of the mentioned technologies (Cisco, Meraki, Checkpoint, F5, Infoblox, Ivanti, etc.).
• Understanding of basic cloud networking principles is desirable.
• Exposure to related domains such as storage or backup is a plus.
• Willingness to deepen knowledge of IT security components (e.g., firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS) with training or mentoring.
