Work Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands

Mode of working: Hybrid (3 days in a week)

Job description:

Build and Ops:

• Creating low level designs (LLDs) in accordance with approved high-level design (HLD)
• Creating build guides, SOPs, installation runbooks etc.
• Required infrastructure provisioning for OpenShift clusters.
• Build and install of OpenShift clusters.
• Integrations with 3rd party ecosystems for Authentication, monitoring and logging.
• Integrations with any available CNI (Container Network Interface) solutions.
• Integration with any required DevOps tools.
• Integrations with any available CSI (Container storage interface) solution.
• Migration from OpenShift 3.x to 4.x.
• Knowledge transfer to Ops teams.
• Provide escalated support from Ops teams on cluster issues.

Ops support:

• Manage and operate the container platform ecosystem (Minor version upgrades, patching, monitoring)
• Assist in change management of container platform for new versions of OpenShift, Hotfixes, SysAdmin tasks, etc.
• Cluster capacity management and provisioning through automation of underlying hosts
• Provides L3 engineering support
• Works with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues, review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing.
• Authors/edits system documentation/playbook(s)
• Partners with experienced team members to develop accurate work estimates on work packages.
• May serve as a mentor on procedural matters to less experienced internal and third-party team members.
• May assist experienced team members with the delegation of work packages.
• Experience in Infrastructure provisioning, monitoring and Ops Experience & Skills
• Expertise with the RedHat OpenShift Container Platform.
• Expertise with Kubernetes.
• Expertise in RedHat Linux administration.
• Expertise working with Docker or similar container technologies.
• Take KT from Customer teams to manage the operations.
• Update, maintain and create new additions and updates in the OpenShift environment.
• 1. Storage skills like storage class, portworx and hardware (disk)
• 2. Deep knowledge in OpenShift and Kubernetes
• 3. High level skills in development
• 4. Deep knowledge in develops tools (azure DevOps, git, Argo etc.)
• Storage elements: Storage Class, PV, PVC.
