Python Developer

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer with strong experience in PySpark to join one of our international projects. This role is fully remote, but the professional must be based in Portugal.

Work model: 100% Remote (from Portugal)

Start date: Immediately

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust backend solutions using Python and PySpark
• Lead the investigation and resolution of complex technical issues
• Work closely with international teams and third-party providers
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices
• Collaborate on solution design and technical documentation
• Participate in the optimization of systems, processes, and data pipelines
• Use Airflow for workflow orchestration and Snowflake for complex queries

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in backend development with Python
• Strong proficiency in PySpark or similar big data frameworks
• Solid knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
• Proficiency in Snowflake and complex SQL queries
• Knowledge of Airflow
• Fluent in English (min. B2); Portuguese is a plus
