Senior Project Manager / Business Analyst

Position Purpose

IQVIA is seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager / Business Analyst with a strong background in Business Intelligence (BI) to lead and support the delivery of data-driven solutions in the commercial pharmaceutical sector. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of business strategy and data technology, ensuring that BI initiatives align with commercial goals and deliver measurable value.

You will manage the full project lifecycle—from stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering to solution design, implementation oversight, and delivery. Your ability to translate complex business needs into actionable insights will be key to driving success in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Principle Accountabilities:

• Lead and manage BI projects focused on commercial pharmaceutical operations, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and oversee the design and implementation of BI solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions are technically sound and meet user expectations.
• Define and promote best practices in project management, business analysis, and BI solution development.
• Support change management, user training, and post-implementation reviews.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and data-driven decision-making.
  
  

Education, Experience, Soft skills & Specialized Knowledge Required:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Proven experience in project management and business analysis within data-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of front-end BI development and data visualization best practices.
• Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver clear insights.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with project management methodologies.
  
  

Any of the following elements are considered as a big plus:

• Experience in the commercial pharmaceutical industry or healthcare analytics.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and performance management tools.
• Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Qlik Sense, Denodo, Snowflake, SSIS, and other BI/DWH platforms.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or business analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
