Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analytics Trainee to join our data team and gain hands-on experience working with Microsoft Fabric—Microsoft's end-to-end data analytics platform. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring data professionals to learn modern data engineering, data science, and business intelligence techniques in a real-world enterprise environment.

Your key tasks

• Assist in setting up and maintaining data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (including Data Factory and Dataflows).
• Support data modeling, transformation, and analysis using tools such as Power BI, Data Lake, and Synapse Data Warehouse within Fabric.
• Work with large datasets from multiple sources to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Help build interactive dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
• Participate in the design and execution of data validation and testing protocols.
• Stay updated on new features and best practices within Microsoft Fabric and the broader Microsoft data ecosystem.
  
  

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or final-year student pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong interest in data analytics, business intelligence, and cloud technologies.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and data querying.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Understanding of data concepts such as ETL, data warehousing, and data visualization.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  
  

It would be a real bonus if you have

• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric components (e.g., Synapse, OneLake, Power BI).
• Experience with Azure services or cloud computing.
• Python or DAX scripting knowledge.
• Git or version control basics.
