About The Role

As a Backend Engineer on our Billing & Subscriptions team, you'll build the robust systems that power how customers pay for and manage their clean energy solutions. You'll focus on creating secure, scalable backend services that handle billing, payments, and subscription management across multiple markets.

In this role, you will:

• Design and build APIs and backend services for billing, payments, and subscription management
• Integrate with payment gateways, banks, and third-party financial services
• Develop automated billing systems, invoice generation, and subscription lifecycle management
• Create secure, scalable systems that handle financial data and transactions
• Build internal tools and services that support our finance operations
• Help scale our payment infrastructure across multiple markets and currencies

What You Bring To The Team

• Experience with Java (Spring framework preferred)
• Strong understanding of databases and data modeling
• Experience building APIs and backend services
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, well-tested code
