Android Developer (Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile experience required)

We are looking for an “Android Developer (Kotlin Multiplatform) – Professional English required” for our client, a global industrial company that operates in over 140 countries with a strong focus on IoT-integrated smart water systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Android applications using Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile, Jetpack Compose, and modern architecture patterns (MVVM/Clean),
• Participate in the entire product lifecycle: from design discussions with global Product Owners to development, testing, and post-release improvements,
• Develop clean, testable, and maintainable code, and collaborate with QA teams to implement automated testing practices,
• Integrate mobile apps with IoT devices and cloud-based backends (e.g., via Bluetooth, MQTT, REST APIs),
• Ensure a seamless UI/UX experience through Compose components and close collaboration with the design team,
• Work within Scrum methodology and contribute to regular ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives),
• Stay up to date with the latest trends in mobile, IoT, and AI-assisted testing or development tools,
• Join an agile and collaborative international team that values technical excellence and end-user satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Android development experience,
• Strong command of Kotlin and hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose,
• Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) experience is a must,
• Familiarity with iOS development or cross-platform app structure is a strong plus,
• Experience with automated testing tools and CI/CD pipelines,
• Familiarity with IoT device communication and real-time integration,
• Hands-on experience or interest in applying AI solutions in development or QA workflows is a strong plus,
• Working knowledge of Scrum, JIRA, Confluence,
• Fluent spoken and written English (daily interaction with global Product Owners and designers).

• Hybrid – Based in Istanbul / Maslak
