Senior Full-Stack Developer – Marketing Team

Overview:

Betterhomes is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to lead the technical execution of a major website reskin (bhomes.com) and oversee ongoing development updates. This is a 3-month contract with a strong possibility of conversion to full-time. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to deliver a modern, high-performing, and visually engaging website.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full-stack development and implementation of the bhomes.com reskin project.
• Architect and develop both frontend and backend solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration with marketing tools and analytics.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with marketing on technical requirements for campaigns and digital initiatives.
• Manage and optimize databases (MongoDB and MySQL) for performance and reliability.
• Maintain and update website features as business needs evolve.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in full-stack development roles.
• Expert in PHP (Laravel), React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS.
• Advanced experience with both MongoDB (NoSQL) and MySQL (relational) databases.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
• Proficient with XML, JSON, and web services.
• Experience with responsive and cross-browser web design.
• Familiarity with marketing automation tools and SEO best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
