Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust and scalable Java applications based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and develop complex software solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using best practices in Java programming.
• Identify and resolve software bugs and performance bottlenecks to ensure applications run smoothly.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers on the team.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment.
• Design and implement database structures that support application functions and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and incorporate new technologies when appropriate.
• Work with QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products through rigorous testing.
• Document development processes, APIs, and system architectures for future reference.
• Develop software solutions to improve system performance, reliability, and security measures.
• Support and maintain existing Java applications, providing regular updates and patches as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
• Proven experience as a Java Software Developer or in a similar software development role.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming languages, particularly Java.
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or similar technologies.
• Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX is preferred.
• Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for this position.
• Ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment efficiently.
• Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience with version control systems like Git for collaborative software development.
• Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.
