JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and motivated Front-End Developer with hands-on experience in React Native and Next.js. The primary responsibility is to design, develop, and optimize high-performance mobile and web applications across iOS, Android, and headless platforms. This role focuses on creating intuitive, responsive, and engaging digital experiences that align with business objectives and enhance customer interaction. The developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers, to deliver seamless solutions that drive user engagement, satisfaction, and digital adoption. Leveraging React Native and Next.js capabilities, the developer will build scalable, efficient, and cross-platform apps while ensuring performance, maintainability, and security, contributing to the company’s goals of delivering top-tier digital products.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• End-to-End App Development Ownership: Take full responsibility for the development, deployment, and maintenance of React Native and Next.js applications for both iOS, Android, and web platforms. Deliver an exceptionally well with a clean, scalable, and well-optimized codebase.
• Front-End Development: Develop and maintain front-end applications using React Native and Next.js, implementing best practices for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of React Native and Next.js applications by implementing strategies such as lazy loading, server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and caching. Enhance responsiveness, reduce load times, and manage memory usage effectively to ensure optimal performance across platforms and devices.
• Reusable Components and Scalable Code: Create reusable, modular, and maintainable React components and libraries to implement complex features and functionalities. Contribute to building a design system and component library to ensure scalability, consistency, and maintainability, improving efficiency across multiple projects.
• API Integration and Data Flow Management: Develop and manage seamless integration with backend APIs and third-party services. Ensure smooth data flow, robust error handling, data validation, and synchronization mechanisms for reliable user experience. Integrate with SiteCore as the content management system.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, vendors, and project managers, to deliver cohesive and seamless digital experiences across platforms.
• Agile and Iterative Development: Participate actively in an agile development environment, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Collaborate through iterative cycles of development, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality, production-ready applications.
• Innovation and Technology Evaluation: Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in React Native, Next.js, and web/mobile development. Evaluate and integrate emerging frameworks and tools to enhance workflows and improve product quality.
• Continuous Delivery and Deployment: Manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines to ensure efficient delivery of features, bug fixes, and improvements in both mobile and web applications.

EDUCATION & SKILLS

1. Educated with at least bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
2. Education specialization or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering
3. Proficient in English
4. Preferred proficiency in Arabic
5. In-depth knowledge of React Native and Next JS and related modules, components and libraries
6. Preferred In-depth knowledge of SiteCore or experience integrating with SiteCore

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE

1. Minimum of 8 years of solid experience in developing web and mobile applications
2. Complete understanding of the entire mobile app development lifecycle, including iOS and Android platforms
3. Familiarity with React Native Ecosystem, stack and libraries
4. Cross-Platform Development
5. Strong understanding of front-end web technologies
6. Proficiency in state management libraries like Redux, Context API, or similar for managing application state
