Solutions Architect

Kyoto Group AS
Norway · Full-time · Mid-Senior

About the role

As Kyoto’s Solutions Architect, you will lead the design and configuration of our enterprise platform ecosystem. This hybrid role blends strategic architecture with hands-on implementation across Dynamics 365, CRM (Sales, Customer Service, Field Service), and Azure-integrated services.

You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize and enable core business processes, using Microsoft’s standard templates, automation tools, and best practices. The role also involves planning integrations with external systems, OT/SCADA platforms, and Azure-based reporting tools, ensuring scalable, efficient, and connected operations.

This position can be based at our office in Oslo, Norway.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end solution architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central, CRM) and Azure-integrated platforms.
  • Configure and support end-to-end business processes in Dynamics 365 (Business Central and CRM), aligned with best practices.
  • Promote standardized workflows and a “configure, not customize” mindset to ensure scalability and ease of maintenance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and partners to plan integrations with SCADA/OT systems and time-series data platforms.
  • Leverage Microsoft tools including Lifecycle Services (LCS), Power Platform Admin Center, and Azure DevOps to manage application lifecycle and deployment activities.
  • Support data migration planning, validation, and execution from legacy or third-party systems.
  • Coordinate testing, user training, go-live readiness, post-deployment stabilization, and continuous support cycles.
  • Apply Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate) to extend Dynamics 365 functionality and enable low-code business automation.
  • Contribute to predictive analytics and reporting through Azure Machine Learning and Power BI dashboards, aligning business data with Heatcube Operations insights.

Required skills & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and/or CRM.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft’s standard business process models, templates, and best practices.
  • Experience configuring business processes in ERP/CRM with a focus on usability and adoption.
  • Hands-on experience integrating with SCADA, IoT, or other industrial systems is a plus.
  • Experience using Azure services such as Data Lake, Synapse, IoT Hub, Azure SQL Edge, and time-series data handling is a benefit.
  • Comfortable in using tools like Lifecycle Services (LCS), Power Platform Admin Centre, and Azure DevOps to manage system changes.
  • Practical experience using Power Apps and Power Automate to build automations and custom apps, including data migration.
  • Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 and Azure are a plus.

Who are you?

  • Focused on execution with a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong business process understanding and ability to translate needs into solutions.
  • Skilled at translating between business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Passionate about automation, standardisation, and enabling data-driven decisions.
  • Hands-on and self-motivated, with an interest in continuous learning and improvement.
