We’re seeking an experienced, motivated, hands-on engineer with innovative ideas for building large-scale enterprise applications. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will apply your deep expertise in designing, developing, and delivering world-class software. You will also contribute to providing technical direction and developing strategies for long-term product growth. This role requires versatility, strong leadership qualities, and an open mind to tackle new challenges faced by our customers

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Frontend Developer you will

Work in an Agile, collaborative environment to understand requirements, design, code and test innovative applications, and support those applications for our customers in retail domain.
Employ IBM's Design Thinking to create products that provide a great user experience along with high performance, security, quality, and stability.
Work closely with designers and product owners to take wireframes from conception to implementation and design and enhance web applications.
Ensure product quality by participating in design reviews, code reviews, and other mechanisms. Interact effectively with Quality Assurance team. Participate in developing test procedures.
At the nexus of engineering and design, be instrumental in bringing industry-defining software products, cloud services and web applications to users around the world.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

5+ years of experience in frontend development
Strong knowledge of web development tools and programming languages: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Angular, Node.js, etc.
Experience with Git
Experience with responsive design patterns including media queries, flex box or another grid framework
Working knowledge of AJAX techniques
Ability to troubleshoot technical problems logically and systematically
Excellent attitude and interpersonal skills with strong focus and commitment
Excellent communication skills

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

Proficiency in Angular, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap or IBM Carbon Design system
Basic skills in java
