Position Overview:

For one of our partners, we are seeking a Data Scientist who will be responsible for AI Delivery. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience to contribute to the success of our partner organization.

Our AI Delivery squad helps to transform data into insights using techniques such as machine learning, natural language processing, large language models, mathematical optimization, etc. It is looking for an experienced Data Scientist:

Your Profile

• You have a proven track record of successful hands-on experiences in the area of advanced analytics. Education in data science without previous practical hands-on experience will not be accepted.
• You are proficient in Python. Knowledge of Scala and/or Spark is a plus.
• You are proficient in relational database querying (SQL) or in data collection and transformation (ETL).
• You master analytical techniques such as machine learning, natural language processing, mathematical optimization, large language models…
• You are at ease with visualization tools like Power BI.
• You have experience with command line tools (UNIX) and version control tools like GIT.
• You know the Hadoop ecosystem (knowledge of the Cloudera distribution of Hadoop will be a plus).
• You have work experience with at least one Cloud Provider, preferably Azure Cloud.
• You have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as good customer relationship skills to present the results of a use case to different audiences (from end users up to division management). You are able to explain complex concepts in a simplified manner.
• You have experience implementing advanced analytics solutions into a well-controlled production environment.
• You are able to learn quickly, adjust to changes and think outside the box.
• You are self-motivated and confident with a positive attitude.
• You have excellent time management and organizational skills, with attention to details.
• You have a past experience in agile development methodologies and make sure that the deliverables contribute to the final product.
• You stay abreast of new tools and technologies to practice up-to-date data analytic strategies.

In addition

• Master's degree in machine learning, statistics, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative field, combined with strong IT skills. A relevant PhD can be valorised.
• 5+ years of experience in advanced data analytics.
• 5+ years of experience in Python.
