As the Security Country Lead for Argentina, reporting to the Security Management for South America and Mexico, the main challenge of this role will be to lead the GM Argentina Security Program, providing a continuous, coordinated, and comprehensive enterprise-integrated security service, ensuring that threats to personnel, assets, operations, and business activities are assessed and addressed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

• Ensure that all of the above is carried out through security plans and policies in accordance with GM's Global Security Standards and local regulations across all GM locations.
• Support all assigned security and fire protection activities for GM.
• Train and support security operations personnel. Consult with local operations and site leadership to ensure their satisfaction with the security services provided.
• Support the local implementation of corporate security policies. Initiate continuous improvement activities to ensure high-quality, cost-effective security and fire services.
• Provide quality assurance for acquired security and fire protection services.
• Support Global Security personnel with security investigations as needed.
• Provide support for the implementation and execution of local emergency response plans, crisis management plans, and security service quality initiatives and processes.
• Communicate periodically with other GM leaders regarding important security matters.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• Education: University degree.
• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in similar positions, with experience leading teams and/or third parties.
• Fluent English
• Office package: Intermediate level.
• Flexibility for working hours according to business needs.
• Availability to work onsite at our Chevrolet Automotive Complex located in Alvear, Santa Fé, Argentina.
• Availability for regular local travel to our offices located in Buenos Aires.

• Holding an ASIS CPP security certification will be valued.
