Chief Business Analyst

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Chief Business Analyst to serve as a strategic link between business stakeholders and IT teams, driving business value through innovative technology solutions such as Generative AI.

This role emphasizes understanding business needs, identifying areas for improvement, and aligning solutions with strategic objectives while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Act as the central point of collaboration between IT teams and business units to ensure seamless communication
Build relationships with stakeholders to identify their challenges, needs, and goals
Identify opportunities where IT and emerging technologies like Generative AI can add organizational value
Translate business needs and issues into concrete, actionable IT requirements
Collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to design and implement solutions leveraging technologies including Generative AI
Facilitate workshops and meetings to collect input, communicate updates, and address concerns
Evaluate the effectiveness of IT initiatives in delivering measurable business impact
Communicate regular updates to stakeholders regarding progress, outcomes, and alignment with strategic goals
Stay updated on industry trends, particularly innovations in Generative AI, and recommend future technology-driven advancements
Assist in implementing change management processes for successful adoption of new systems and workflows within the organization

Requirements

Proven experience in requirements analysis, change management, and stakeholder engagement with at least 7 years in business analysis or related fields
Knowledge of insurance processes and operations, integrated with expertise in optimizing workflows through technology
Understanding of Generative AI principles, with demonstrated capability to identify high-value business use cases
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to align IT strategies to business priorities
Competency in IT systems and processes, emphasizing the translation of technical features into business solutions
Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder collaboration
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional teamwork

Nice to have

Background in Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter for claims or policy administration
Expertise in insurance claims and policy administration systems, or comparable industry solutions
Understanding of industry-specific tools and practices to improve operational efficiency through IT innovation
